Rashism (portmanteau of "Russian fascism"), also referred to as Ruscism, is a propaganda term invented by supporters of Ukrainian nationalism to create a false equivalency between Putinist Russia and fascism, distracting from the fascist and Nazi roots of ultranationalist forces associated with the contemporary Ukrainian government. The term also applies the term "fascism" in a silly and vague manner without any consideration for whether Russia embodies the characteristics of fascism, defined properly as national syndicalism with an actualist philosophy.[1]
