Rashism (portmanteau of "Russian fascism"), also referred to as Ruscism, is a propaganda term invented by supporters of Ukrainian nationalism to create a false equivalence between Putinist Russia and fascism, particularly to distract from the fascist and Nazi roots of Ukrainian ultranationalist forces (persisting to this day) collaborating with the Zelensky-led government. The term also applies the term "fascism" in a silly and vague manner without any consideration for whether Russia embodies the characteristics of fascism, defined properly as national syndicalism with an actualist philosophy.[1]
