Bud Lite was a popular brand of beer sold by AB InBev which, in early April 2023, promoted the transgender agenda with a Bud Lite can featuring a transgender male presenting as a woman. The grassroots backlash by beer drinkers was very negative, and sales of Bud Lite plummeted.
AB InBev arrogantly expected to ride out the controversy, and initially issued merely a weak sort of mea culpa. As sales of this brand continued to be far below its prior levels, AB InBev backtracked further.
Other beer brands affiliated with Bud Light through common ownership include:
- Beck’s
- Budweiser
- Corona
- Labatt
- Modelo
- Rolling Rock
- Stella
