Perhaps we should remove the History section here. I think it might be more appropriate for the Abolitionism article. Plus it seems strange to have a direct quote represent the history of abolitionists. --Colest 12:25, 12 June 2007 (EDT) | Perhaps we should remove the History section here. :I agree that the history would be more appropriate in the Abolitionism article since it's the history of the movement itself. I thought it would be prudent to make it clear that the current history section is a direct quote from a previously uncited, copyrighted source. When moving it to Abolitionism it would probably be best to rewrite it to avoid the quoting.--Brian 12:32, 12 June 2007 (EDT) | :I agree that the history would be more appropriate in the Abolitionism article since it's the history of the movement itself. Perhaps we should remove the History section here. I think it might be more appropriate for the Abolitionism article. Plus it seems strange to have a direct quote represent the history of abolitionists. --Colest 12:25, 12 June 2007 (EDT)
- I agree that the history would be more appropriate in the Abolitionism article since it's the history of the movement itself. I thought it would be prudent to make it clear that the current history section is a direct quote from a previously uncited, copyrighted source. When moving it to Abolitionism it would probably be best to rewrite it to avoid the quoting.--Brian 12:32, 12 June 2007 (EDT)
