Phonics school is a new type of school focused on teaching students to be superb readers based on phonics.
With optimal textbooks and a few dedicated teachers, it is possible that such a school could be successful with $80,000 in a rural area of the country, and $100,000 in a more expensive area.
On an $80,000 budget for 20 students, a staff of 2 dedicated teachers could be hired with a no-frills classroom and no cafeteria.
