The Iranian government is too stupid for words. Israel is a natural ally of Iran against the twin threats of Wahhabism and the Muslim Brotherhood, but the Ayatollahs are so fanatically antisemitic that they would rather pick fights with the Jewish state than focus on the enemies that actually want to destroy their country, for purely ideological reasons.
