To feed the shareholders and employees of the [[military industrial complex]], and the campaign chests of members of Congress with donations from [[Pentagon]] contractors who are awarded contracts. It sure isn't to defend the American people, [[democracy]], or [[freedom]] (heck, we can't even vote for the candidate of our choice, let alone get him sworn in after he wins. And if he does get sworn in, he'll just get JFK'd by the CIA). Everyone should know this from our experiences in [[Vietnam]], [[Afghanistan]] and [[Ukraine]].
