Harriet Maxine Hageman (born October 18, 1962) is an American attorney and politician from Republican who successfully defeated by a landslide the RINO, Establishment-controlled member Liz Cheney in the primary race, then she won in general election and become newly elected congressman to represent state of Wyoming at large.
Earlier Hageman had supported Cheney but changed her allegiance after Cheney tried to derail U.S. President Donald Trump to prevent his successful 2024 election victory. She carried Trump's endorsement in her 2022 first election to Congress.
Hageman has been impressive in her first term in Congress. For example, in July 2023 she properly criticized the sanctimonious Leftist John Kerry:
| “ | John Kerry should have zero budget and his office should not exist. Why are we funding a former secretary of state whose biggest concern about an ongoing war is its effect on climate change, while he flies around on private jets which in 2021 emitted 116 metric tons of carbon? | ” |
On December 30, 2024, Hageman was elected by her House colleagues to chair the Anti-Woke Caucus.[1]
