Peace is a state of tranquility/harmony and the absence of conflict.[1] Peacemaking is the ability to cope with conflict by peaceful means.[2]
Peace as a fruit of the Holy Spirit
Peace is one of the fruit of the Holy Spirit. The Fruit of the Holy Spirit are perfections that the Holy Spirit forms in us as the first fruits of eternal glory. The tradition of the Church lists twelve of them.[3]
In the Bible, a dove is often a symbol of the Holy Spirit.[4]
