::Reports indicate the new Russian republics east of the Dnieper do not need the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant for supplies of [[electricity]]; they can be supplied from [[Rostov]]. Western Ukraine (west of the Dnieper) does need the [[ZNPP]]. Therefore, in exchange of formal recognition of the new international borders, the RF may be willing to give up the ZNPP.
