A Psalter is a book containing the Book of Psalms from the Old Testament, usually intended for private, devotional use.[1]

The Book of Psalms is the most-read book in the Bible, and thus the most-read book in all of history. The Dead Sea Scrolls provide insight as to how this book developed over time.
