Christianity is the largest religion in Europe.[1] For many long centuries, Europe was the heart of Christendom. Today, Christianity more manifestly shines as the universal religion it always was, by demonstrably permeating every continent and country. Many of the Pauline Epistles are to Churches in Europe, including Romans and 1 Corinthians and 2 Corinthians.
Roman Catholicism in Europe
There are over 650 Catholic dioceses in Europe. This includes both Latin and Eastern Catholic dioceses across various countries.[2] there are approximately 286 million Catholics in Europe. [3] See also Roman Catholic Church for more details.
