Burevestik is a nuclear power cruise missile developed by the Russian Federation with virtually unlimited range.
On October 25, 2024 Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Gen. Valery Gerasimov announced testing had been completed on October 21, 2025. The Burevestik traveled 14,000 kilometers for 15 hours and could have kept travelling further.
Because of Burevestik's ability to change course and go around radar systems, Burevestik makes the proposed Golden Dome missile defense program, as envisioned in the spring of 2025, obsolete before it even makes it off the drawing board.[1]
