::An actual "America First" president would've fired Gorka by this point. Or better yet, never hired him in the first place. But it's clear as crystal that Trump has abandoned "America First", assuming ever was that to begin with. Either way, he is really playing with fire by allowing Gorka to go there.--Geopolitician (talk) 15:45, May 14, 2026 (EDT)

:::On a related note, Daniel L. McAdams, the right-hand man of Ron Paul and someone who apparently knew Gorka while living in Budapest in the '90s, has this to say about him. Gorka is a complete fraud. While commonly identified as a nationalist, a deconstruction of Gorka's positions reveals that at heart he is actually an extreme neocon. In fact, he may be the most extreme neocon in the entire administration, even moreso than Marco Rubio. The "Natcon" strain of nationalism/conservatism frequently promoted by Gorka and like-minded Hungarians is also a complete fraud, and Orban getting cozy with those people is one of the reasons he was ousted last month. That decision was a dealbreaker for many people who otherwise would've voted Fidesz, as they do not take kindly to their foreign policy being dictated from the outside by followers of an ideology which isn't even European in origin much less Hungarian.--Geopolitician (talk) 15:45, May 14, 2026 (EDT)
