Victor Bout is a former arms dealer and Russian politician and member of the opposition nationalist Liberal Democratic party of Russia founded by Gen. Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
Bout was arrested in Thailand and convicted in US Federal Court for arms trafficking. Bout was traded for WNBA star Brittamy Griner in a prisoner swap by the Biden regime. Griner had been convicted of drug smuggling in the Russian Federation.
