Victor Bout is a former arms dealer and Russian politician and member of the opposition nationalist Liberal Democratic party of Russia founded by Gen. Vladimir Zhirinovsky.
Bout was born in the Tajik SSR in 1967. Bout is mastered Portuguese, English, French, Arabic, Farsi, several African languages and Esperanto. He served in the Soviet army as a translator.
