Stanley Laurel (Ulverston, Cumbria 16 June 1890 - Santa Monica, California 23 February 1965) commonly known as Stan, was one-half of the comedy duo Laurel and Hardy. He is best known for his dispassionate appearance and his catchphrase, "Well, here's another fine mess you've gotten me into!", first quoted in the short film Chickens Come Home.[1]
"He was a great artist who was also a family man and interested in everything they were doing." Huntley Woods.
