The conservapedia rules say that everything you input to conservapedia must be verifiable and true. If you ever get a uncited "scientists say" again, please feel free to remove it. I think if you say "scientists say" you should cite a scientist or a authorative source.
I think this is fair. I think a young earth creationist should be able to respond to a "old earth sentence" and to do that he needs the source. A source in many cases may reveal the dating methodology used.
