Yes I read that, but it seemed a bit confusing. Do I need a sysop who knows and can recommend me just for nighttime editing? Is there a page for requests? Is there a reason why I wouldn't get nighttime rights? Fantasia 16:16, 3 September 2007 (EDT)

You can approach a bureaucrat (there's a link to the list of them on that same page) directly, but as it said, it's probably better to approach a sysop who knows you. Yes, that does apply for night-time editing. Whomever you choose to approach, either contact them privately, such as using the "E-mail this user" link on their user page, or post a message on their talk page. Yes, there potentially could be a reason or reasons you would not get it, including simply not yet having demonstrated your genuineness.
