Chemistry is the study of the interactions of chemical elements and compounds. Along with physics, chemistry is one of the physical sciences. Chemistry can generally be divided into organic chemistry, which explains the interactions of carbon based compounds, and inorganic chemistry which deals with other chemical reactions. There are other sub-branches of chemistry including physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, biochemistry, nuclear chemistry, and others.
Famous chemists include Niels Bohr, Michael Faraday, Ernest Rutherford, Linus Pauling, and Alfred Nobel.
