I think we should talk about the various forms of marriage in the Old Testament. Since we allude to the Old Testament by mentioning Adam and Eve, we are opening ourselves up to the charge that we are liberal Christians who pick and choose which parts of the Bible we want to believe. I think we should talk about the various forms of marriage in the Old Testament. Since we allude to the Old Testament by mentioning Adam and Eve, we are opening ourselves up to the charge that we are liberal Christians who pick and choose which parts of the Bible we want to believe. Also, assertions of the "will of God" should be backed up, chapter and verse, with the Word of God. JeffM 17:31, 10 September 2007 (EDT)
