::Yes, well, the origonal author of the article has said that I have been too harsh on him, so I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt here. Honestly, though, I don't know anything about the Irish Times, so I didn't want to completely cut all of the over the top stuff without knowing what I was doing. Same problem it sounds you have. Hrm, how does one find sources *about* a news source? I'll be back... HelpJazz 22:34, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

:::It should not be THAT hard to find sources about the Irish Times. But it should be hard to find sources for the numerous broad claims scattered all the way through the article. If I (fact)-tagged all bold claims, I'd get banned for being a vandal because 25% of the article would be superscripted "Citation needed"s. --Jenkins 22:38, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

Homosexuality is illegal in Ireland? Meaning, they actually arrest you for being gay? I highly doubt that. Could one of our across-the-pond members clean this article up a bit? HelpJazz 19:16, 8 October 2007 (EDT)

...clean-up? Even assuming that this isn't parody, it'd need something like a full rewrite, if just to avoid over-the-top phrases like "is guilty of this and guilty of that", which make the article look more like opinion piece and less like encyclopedia. A few sources wouldn't be bad, either. I'd tackle the former, but without sources (and for broad claims like this, it's hard to find any on the fly), I'd have to fly blindly, potentially inducing (more?) inaccuracies. --Jenkins 19:27, 8 October 2007 (EDT)
