Westboro Baptist Church is a church led by controversial Democratic gubernatorial and Senate candidate Fred Phelps. The church's members are almost entirely family members and are most famous for their protests and pickets at soldier funerals. Their antics are denounced across almost all spectrums of political and religious thought.
