In regards to ahteism and evolution, a majority of the most prominent and vocal defenders of the evolutionary position which employs methodological naturalism since World War II have been atheists.[1][2] Creationist scientists correctly assert that the theory of evolution is an inadequate explanation for the variety of life forms on earth.[3]
