Lemonade is a sweet beverage composed of sugar, lemon juice, and water. Modern lemonades are carbonated and can be clear (e.g. Sprite® or R Whites®) or cloudy (e.g. traditional lemonades). Lemonade is usually served chilled, often over ice and sometimes with a slice of lemon.

As well as being drunk on its own, lemonade can be mixed with beer to make a shandy, is added to wine and other ingredients to make the Spanish drink Sangria and can be served as a mixer with spirits.
