Miguel Cairo is a Major League Baseball utility infielder (can play all infield positions) for the New York Yankees. Teams he has played with throughout his major league career include the Toronto Blue Jays (1996), Chicago Cubs (1997, 2001), Tampa Bay Devil Rays (1998-2000), St. Louis Cardinals (2001-2003), New York Mets (2005) and New York Yankees (2004, 2006-2007). Due to the fact that he is not a outstanding offensive player, Cairo has managed to stay in the major leagues due to his usefulness as a excellent defensive player.
