A second generation atheist is one descended and raised in an atheistic environment by parents who are both atheists.
It is difficult, if not impossible, to find accomplishments by second generation atheists. While atheists raised in religious environments have been productive, the same cannot be said about atheists raised in atheistic environments. Moreover it has been shown that second generation atheists who converted to Christianity early in life have been moderately successful.[Citation Needed]
As of Feb. 25, 2008, Google retrieves only 18 sites referring to second generation atheists. In contrast, minister's sons have been strikingly productive.
