Destiny Church is a popular New Zealand Evangelical church. It believes in the unchanging Word of God as in the Bible, and although New Zealand has become an increasingly liberal and atheistic, Destiny Church serves to protect its standing as a Christian country.
The Church is extremly well led by Bishop Brian Tamaki, who takes a stand on all matters of imorality, particularly in leading the "Enough is Enough campaign", protesting against a government pursuing a homosexual agenda. He has patriarchal views and believes in prosperity theology.[1]
DestinyNZ, the political wing, had a huge chance of becoming a political force however, after polling just below the 5% threashold required to gain a seat in New Zealand parliament, DestinyNZ is unfortunately no longer on the electoral roll.[2].
