Pro-choice is a misleading term used to promote abortion; by its terms it implies pro-informed choice, when in fact pro-choice supporters oppose informing women about the long-term medical harms of the operation. The label can be stated as pro-"choice", with quotation marks, to reflect a lack of support by the person of informed choice. The term is deceptive by deflecting or glossing-over the true meaning. "How can anybody be against having a choice?" It is not a choice that is destroyed in the womb, but a human being. Nobody has the 'right' to play God. Who said this?

The more accurate term for people and organizations who support taxpayer-funded abortion, or otherwise promote abortion, is pro-abortion.
