Cato
I wonder whether you'd be interested in creating a page on Cato? He's quite an important figure in the Divine Comedy, which is why I'm personally keen to have an entry for him, but I don't know much about him as a historical figure, whereas you seem to have some expertise in ancient history.--CPalmer 08:01, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
Also, nobody seems to have welcomed you yet, so welcome to Conservapedia!
- Thanks for the welcome, but which Cato was it? Cato the younder, or Cato the Younger as they were both very important historically in different ways.
- I'm afraid I'm not sure. I do know that the one I'm talking about committed suicide, if that narrows it down.--CPalmer 11:04, 23 October 2008 (EDT)
- That would definitely be Cato the Younger who killed himself after the defeat of his forces by Caesar during Caesar's removal of opposition to his rule.
- That certainly rings a bell. I expect articles on both Catos would be beneficial here (though there is much else to do as well, of course).--CPalmer 11:11, 24 October 2008 (EDT)
