Food additives are used to enhance flavor and appearance of food, which may cause addiction. In the early days, Coca-Cola contained the highly addictive drug of cocaine and Chinese food used the addictive flavor enhancer of MSG (many Chinese still use it since MSG is not illegal). Food and drugs are a frightening combination because everyone has to eat, but then everyone has the chance of becoming addicted, even children. MSG is the cause of autism and ADHD in children.[1] The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates.
For the safety of children and people, we must address the addition of addictive additives. There are more dangers there than trans fats and obesity.
