Spock is a fictional character from the Star Trek television series and films. Spock was a halfbreed born of Human and Vulcan parents. As with all Vulcans, he has the characteristic pointed ears and pointed eyebrows and is known for his near total repression of his own emotions and reliance on logic. One of his famous logic-based quotes is "the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few".
Spock was played by actor Leonard Nimoy. In the upcoming eleventh Star Trek film, he will be played by both Nimoy and Zachary Quinto.[1]
