Hyper-Calvinism is the belief amongst some Christians that God saves the elect through His own divine will, and that no human works can affect whether or not a person will be saved. It is generally considered to be outside the mainstream of Christian theology, due to its lack of emphasis on evangelism, which flies in the face of the Great Commission.[1][2]
