- Bob the Air Traffic Controller deserves a pat on the back as well as the Pilot and crew. They all handled their jobs with the utmost of skill and professionalism. Under a level of stress that is unimaginable to most people. Both the Pilot and the TRACON Controller knew that their actions would have a direct impact on the lives of 156 families forever. [1]
