Subliminal Messages are sounds or images implanted in a medium that are designed to be unnoticed by the conscious mind, while being aborbed by the subconscious, thus allowing peoples' behavior to be influenced without their knowledge.
Major users of subliminal messages include politicians, rock musicians[1], and advertisers[2]. On a less sinister note, some self-help programs claim to use subliminal messages to help break bad habits by letting you "wash your own brain".[3]
