The subconscious mind "is the part of your mind that operates below the level of conscious awareness. It stores memories, beliefs, and past experiences, influencing thoughts and actions without you consciously realizing it. Think of it as a vast database constantly processing information and shaping your responses."[4]

The very idea that the unconscious exists has been controversial. A number of researchers have criticized the notion and questioned if there actually is an unconscious mind at all.

More recently in the field of cognitive psychology, researchers have focused on automatic and implicit functions to describe things that were previously attributed to the unconscious. According to this approach, there are many cognitive functions that take place outside of our conscious awareness.[6]

It is thought that it may be possible to change one's subconscious mind through various techniques. This process, frequently called reprogramming the subconscious, involves influencing the deeply held beliefs and patterns that shape your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This means you can create new pathways in your brain that become stronger than the old, limiting ones. Repetition and consistent effort are key to solidifying these new pathways.

  • Goal setting. Goals serve as guiding stars that help align one's thoughts, actions, and beliefs towards positive outcomes
  • Repetition is the mother of learning. Through repetition, behavior becomes more automatic. Repetition with new, strong, positive emotions can assist with reprogramming your subconscious mind.[10]
  • Visualization: Actively visualize your desired outcomes, engaging all your senses, to train your subconscious to believe in their possibility.
  • Christian meditative prayer and meditation: Christian meditative prayer and meditation helps you relax your mind, access deeper levels of awareness, and identify and release negative patterns.
  • Gratitude: Expressing gratitude for what you have can shift your focus to positive aspects and accelerate the manifestation process.
