The correct title of this article should be Jacques-Louis David. The hyphen is a part of the name and should not be left out. Virtually every major art museum spells it with the hyphen (The Metropolitan Museum of Art: , The Los Angeles County Museum of Art: , The Getty Museum: , and more), as well as virtually every reputable art history textbook (I'm tired of typing, so just look at the argument I made for spelling Paul Cezanne as Paul Cézanne on the talk page for the former). -Ilikecake 18:04, 5 June 2009 (EDT)

The correct title of this article should be Jacques-Louis David. The hyphen is a part of the name and should not be left out. Virtually every major art museum spells it with the hyphen (The Metropolitan Museum of Art: [1], The Los Angeles County Museum of Art: [2], The Getty Museum: [3], and more), as well as virtually every reputable art history textbook (I'm tired of typing, so just look at the argument I made for spelling Paul Cezanne as Paul Cézanne on the talk page for the former). -Ilikecake 18:04, 5 June 2009 (EDT)
