McDonald's is the american fast food chain. Besides selling fast food McDonald's contributes to the development of the world through bringing work in underdeveloped countries and establishing a local supply chain. So McDonald's creates more jobs than those in its own restaurants and acts as an ambassador of western values.

Criticism

McDonald's has often been accused of knowingly selling unhealthy food. McDonald's states that health is not only an issue of food but also of a balanced active lifestyle. The 'Documentation' 'Super Size Me' aimed at proving that McDonald's had no interest in healthy customers whatsoever. The movie though was done in a Michael Moore style, so it might be considered that this movie was part of a plot against McDonald's.
