Harbin (Hanyu Pinyin: Haerbin; Wade Giles: Ha-erh-pin; Russian: Kharbin) is the largest city in Manchuria and the capital of Heilongjiang province. It is one of China's largest cities, and is the economic and cultural center of Northeastern China.
The city is famous for its annual snow festival, which features artists from all over the world who build intricate snow sculptures.
