Harbin (Chinese: 哈日彬; Hanyu pinyin: Háĕrbín; Wade-Giles: Ha-erh-pin; Russian: Kharbin) is the largest city in Manchuria and the capital of Heilongjiang province. One of China's largest cities, it is the economic and cultural center of Northeastern China.
