Known for his conservative leanings and denigrating the lack of family values in media, he is a proponent of recognizing the strong ties between Christians and Jews and nurturing that bond. A supporter of the Christian Right, he believes Israel has no greater friend outside of Jews than religious Christians and believes an increase in born again Christians is a good thing for Judaism.
