Conservapedia:Uploading

This a proposal to improve Conservapedia or its policies and guidelines. It is not official, and does not have wide acceptance. Please regard it as tentative and formative.

You can upload images, but please keep them under 100 KB in size. Use lowercase for the extension:

• PingPong.jpg
• Minaret.png

Technical difficulties with uploads

This image uses Craigwhitephoto.jpg for a filename.

This fellow is just as puzzled as we are. Why is it so hard to upload images sometimes? We thought it might be the number of letters in the filename. Some user report shortening the filename got their upload to work, but this man's image has a 15 letters + a 3 letter extension. The mystery continues.

Deleting improper images

If you can't bear to look at bad images, you can:

1. Go to the new files page, which is formatted like a table.
2. Open the link in a background tab.
   • Reduce the size of your browser screen so it shows only the top inch or so.
   • Go to that tab
3. Click on delete
   • At this point, you don't have to see the image and can restore your browser to the normal size *whew*

Then delete as usual. You might want to say whose advice you took in the deletion summary.
