MerchantCircle is a firm which is the largest social network of local business owners in the nation. Their firm operates a website which combines social networking features with customizable web listings that allow local merchants to attract new customers. At least one million merchants utlize their service and they are a member of the Better Business Bureau.
For consumers, MerchantsCircle offers customer reviews so consumers can see other customers' experiences with merchant so they can avoid firms which sell inferior products and/or deliver poor service.
