Roy D. Blunt, born January 10, 1950 (age 76), is a Republican Representative from Missouri's 7th congressional district who has served as House Republican whip from 2003-2009. He briefly served as House Majority Leader. Blunt is the Senator-elect from Missouri after defeating State Secretary of State Robin Carnahan during the 2010 election.
Blunt is the father of former Missouri Governor Matt Blunt.
