Russell Dana "Russ" Feingold, born March 2, 1953 (age 73), is the former Democratic junior United States Senator from the state of Wisconsineen defeated by Republican Ron Johnson in the 2010 election. He served in the senate from 1993until 2011. He was the only Senator to vote against the Patriot Act in 2001, comparing it to Lincoln's suspension of habeas corpus and the internment of Japanese citizens during World War II.[1]
