Steven Levitt is a liberal economist and co-author of Freakonomics, a book falsely claiming legalized abortion contributed to a drop in the crime rate in the 1990s (a phenomenon accurately attributed to conservative social policies). Levitt's theory has been compared to Eugenics. [Who says?]
