The Food Biosecurity Action Team (F-BAT) is a division of the USDA Under Secretary for Food Safety formed to coordinate and facilitate all activities pertaining to biosecurity, countering terrorism, and emergency preparedness with FSIS. F-BAT also serves as FSIS’ voice with other governmental agencies and internal and external constituents on bioterrorism issues.
