Terri Sewell is a public finance attorney and Democratic U.S. Representative from Alabama's 7th congressional district, succeeding Artur Davis who retired to run for Govenor. She is a member of the House Agriculture Committee, and Science, Space and Technology Committee.
Sewell is the first black women elected to Congress from Alabama.
