Myron Cope (d 2008) was the voice of the Pittsburgh Steelers for many years. Known for his Pittsburghese accent and his many colloquialisms, it was very difficult to listen to a Steelers game this year without hearing his voice. Also, Fred Rogers (d 2003), AKA Mr. Rogers of Neighborhood fame, was born and raised, and lived most of his life, in the Pittsburgh area. His show, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, was a paramount of early childhood values for years. As a child, I preferred watching his show over any other available at the time, and admittedly, I still watched his show from time to time into my twenties, to reminisce about simpler times. Pretty sheltered, no? I plan to travel, as I've recently devloped a taste for flying. I'd like to go to Japan, and a tour of Europe would be nice as well. I do, however, have quite a collection of coins from all over the world, currently at 278 countries/provinces (some now defunct, a la East Germany) and some aren't even countries yet (a la Kurdistan). I'd put up the pictures of the flags, but there are far too many, and I have work to do.
