Dr. Greg Bahnsen became known as "the man atheists fear most" due to Michael Martin's cancellation of their scheduled debate.[1]

Transcendental argument for the non-existence of God (TANG) is an argument developed by Michael Martin, in which he claims logic, morality, and science, are incompatible with Christianity, it has been countered and criticized by several scholars.

It was made to counter the much older Transcendental argument for the existence of God (TAG).

Martin was criticized by the defenders of TAG for his 11th hour pulling out of his 1994 scheduled debate with Dr. Greg Bahnsen (See: Press release after Michael Martin pulled out of Martin-Bahnsen debate).[2]

Martin released his TANG argument in 1996 after Greg Bahnsen died in 1995.[3][4]
